Double-flowering Japanese Wisteria This double-flowering form comes into bloom about two weeks later than the Chinese type (Wisteria sinensis) usually grown. The double flowers are produced in much longer clusters and are of a deep purple color. A most desirable, distinct and scarce variety. $ each. HEDGE PLANTS Berberis Thunbergi {Japan Barberry). Where a dwarf decidu- ous hedge is wanted, nothing equals this beautifxd Barberry. Requires but little pruning to keep in shape. The leaves are small, light green, and towards fall assume rich, brilliant colors, the fruit or berries becoming scarlet. Absolutely hardy in all parts of the country. Plant 12 to IS inches apart.
