One of the prettiest Palms, espec- ially suited for table decoration. The foliage is similar to that of Latania Jiorbonica, but smaller and gracefully recurved, forming an almost globular plant. Young plants in 4-inch pots, 4 to 5 leaves, 8 inches high, 50 cts. each ; fine specimen plants, in 5-inch pots, $100; 6-inch pots, $ each. Phoenix Canariensis. One of the hardiest of the Date Palms, with dark green feathery foli- age, of strong growth, and is espec- ially valuable for outdoor decoration, as it stands sun and wind without the least damage, even in exposed situa- tions.
