St Briavels castle was built in the 12th Century, and became the administrative centre of the Forest of Dean. This image was taken at sunset on the 18th April 2019, when the village was featured in the national press and on BBC TV over a number of acid attacks that have been carried out on cars belonging to members of the Trustees of the St Briavels Assembly Rooms charity.
