Possibly the most historically famous museums in the world, The Louvre Museum (Musee du Louvre in French) is situated in central Paris on the right bank of the river Seine in the 1st arrondissement district of Paris. It is the most popular Museum in the world. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace and opened on the 10th August, 1793. Paris is a city in Europe, founded in the third century. Considered one of the most important cultural centres of the world and known for it’s romantic atmosphere, it is also one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world. Paris is also the capital of France, a country in Europe. France is part of the european union and uses the euro as it’s currency.
