Do not make opening larger than necessary togive pus easy flow. Wash and disinfect before and afteropening and keep area clean.(6) Curved scissors for clipping the hair off parts when knife is to be used, and for trimming ragged edges off. Keep instrument clean, use an antiseptic solution (noncorrosive), such as creolin and water. (c) Artery forceps, for picking up a cut arterj^ for ligation.
