Crash Site
November 1948 a B29 Superfortress crewed by a photo recon team, crashed into Bleaklow moor in low cloud conditions. All thirteen crew lost their lives, and sixty eight years later, much of the wreckage remains scattered across the peat moors. A sombre memorial to the crew of the "Overexposed".
