Velociraptor dinosaurs. Artwork of a group of Velociraptor mongoliensis dinosaurs running in pursuit of their prey (not seen). This dinosaur was a bird-like feathered carnivore that lived around 70 million years ago, during the Cretaceous period. It measured 2 metres from head to tail. The original fossils for this dinosaur were found in Mongolia.
