HARBOR (May 1, 2017) Sailors and Marines man the rails as the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) and the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for a scheduled port visit. Comstock, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 11th MEU, is visiting Hawaii during their return transit to San Diego following a seven-month deployment to the 3rd, 5th, and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
