A flintlock pistol, Lambert Rouma, Liège, circa 1720. Round, barrel with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre with a mid rib and brass front sight. The rear half of the iron barrel is chiselled with floral design in relief. The flintlock is chiselled en suite with a signature, "La Rouma", under the frizzen spring. Carved walnut full stock with brass furniture decorated in relief. The side plate is composed of openwork vines. Wooden ramrod with horn jag. Beautiful pistol. Length 52 cm.
