Apollo 11 Moon landing. Buzz Aldrin laying out packages of the Early Apollo Scientific Experiment Package (EASEP) during the Apollo 11 moon landing. This was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. The US astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landed on 20th July 1969 and descended from the lunar landing module to the surface early in the morning of 21st July. Photographed in July 1969.
