Orchid flowers (Coelogyne massangeana). Each flower has a yellow-tipped ruffled petal. This is a specialised structure called a lip. It attracts pollinators and provides them with a landing platform. This is an epiphytic orchid (one that grows in trees). It is found in the mountains of Malaysia and Indonesia. There are more than 30,000 species of orchids worldwide, many of which are grown as ornamental flowers.
