Epitaaf for Anselmus de Bijt; Cavical of d'Autheur / Auctoris Epitaphium. / Épitaphe de l'Autheur .. Epitaaf for Anselmus De Bijt in the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Bruges, died 21 June 1632. Central to the Holy Trinity, on either side columns, at the top of the family crest. At the bottom of a plaque with nine-line burst in the Latin. Part of the first album with drawings of four-legged friends. First of twelve albums with drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made by Emperor Rudolf II. With explanation in Dutch, Latin and French.
