MGS CELEBRATES 500TH YEAR WITH SCHOOLÕS LARGEST EVER REUNION Film director Sir Nicholas Hytner High profile sporting and media figures, theatre directors, leading businessmen and members of the Church were among the 1,000 guests who joined The Manchester Grammar School (MGS) for a gala dinner to celebrate its quincentenary year. Held at The Point at Old Trafford, Manchester, the evening marked the SchoolÕs 211th annual Old BoysÕ dinner. Guests were welcomed by Chairman of Governors, Maurice Watkins CBE, and High Master, Dr Martin Boulton.
