Per pkt. 5 cts., oz. lb. $ 15 cts., 1/4 lb. 35 Lemon Cucumber A new and entirely distinct type. Tender sweet and crisp. The Lemon Cucumber has come to stay, its popularity increasing. With those who grew it last season it is a favor- ite. If you are fond of cucumbers and want one that will almost melt in your mouth, try our Lemon. Our illustration is from a photograph of the fruits, in comparison, with an ordinary Cucumber. They are nearly round, with the yellow and green markings and smooth skin of the Lemon, while the fiesh is exceedingly tender and crisp, with a sweet fiavor sur- passing all other cucumbers. They have none of the bitter or acid taste so generally found in Cucumbers. For slicing they excel, and are well adapted for serving whole upon the table. For pickling, ripe or green, one of the best and most attractive, on account of their quaint form. They can be served green but are at the best just as they are turning yellow. This variety has given us great satisfaction for family use and also for pickling, as we tested this sort along with others at our trial grounds. Per pkt. 5 cts., oz. 25 cts., 14 lb. 75 cts.
