Proboscis fully developed ; palpi obliquely upturned, the 3rd joint modei-ate ; frons with oblique truncate elliptical prominence; antenuge of male bipectinate with rather long branches. Head and thorax clothed with rough scales, and with a crest on metathorax ; tibiae with the spurs long. Fore wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell, b from above angle ; 6 from below upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form a short areole; 11 free. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell ; 5 from well above angle ; 6, 7 froui upper angle; 8 from before middle of cell; termen of both wings crenulate. 2048. Cremnophora angasi. Apina angasii, Wlk. iii. 757 (1855); Kirby, Cat. Het. p. 442. Black ; palpi and tufts above the eyes white and pink ; antennae.
