A chicken wishbone sits on top of a pebble which in turn sits on top of an old knotted piece of wood.
The Wishbone is the bone overlaying the breastbone in fowl such as chicken and turkey and is considered to to be a lucky talisman in the west. Two people pull the bone apart until it snaps and the person with the longest part has a wish granted.
