Wallace's Gliding Frog (Rhacophorus nigropalmatus) Like most of the frogs in this family, they live high up on tree canopies.

The uniqueness of Wallace's Flying Frog is their webbed toes can be flattened or enlarge to enable them to glide. The membranes between their toes and loose skin flaps on their sides trap atmospheric air as they fall, helping them to glide like a parachute hence the common name parachute frog.
