JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, WASH. – A Green Beret with the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) preforms push-ups on the edge of a pool while being sprayed and doused with buckets of water during the Maritime Assessment Course at Keeler Pool on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Jan. 27. The Maritime Assessment Course is a prerequisite course that physically and mentally challenges Green Berets and provides them with the skills needed for the rigors of the Combat Diver Qualification Course.
