Egyptian coffin lid on display in Haslemere Museum, Surrey, UK, dating from circa 500 BC to 200 BC.

The coffin figure shows the remains of yellow paint on the face and therefore represents a female. The figure wears a black tripartite wig and a decorative collar displaying rows of coloured beads. Beneath are two eyes symbolising the protective powers of the God Horus. A winged scarab beetle in the centre of the figure's chest represents the god of creation, Khepri.
