A mantelpiece clock, France, middle of the 19th century Gold and silver-plated brass. A Mameluke on horseback, riding across a battlefield. Case with classical decoration, on acanthus feet. Enamelled dial in the centre. Repaired in the vicinity of the number "VII" marble insets on the left and right with superimposed trophy bundles, and with an additional trophy bundle and a laurel branch under the dial.
