The mean value of the growth rate grids were then calculated for each Thiessen polygon from these grids. This provided the basis to calculate an average rate of growth or decline in residential housing in the area around state trust land parcels in the recent past and predicted in the near future. The cadastral parcels were also used as the unit of analysis for measurements provided to Dr Jackson as the basis for regression models on the economic predictions for residential development. In addition to the variables already described, parcels larger than 1 acre were identified and summarized by county and land office. Appendix C 12 12.
