SASEBO, Japan (April 26, 2021) Navy and Marine Corps personnel from Expeditionary Strike Group 7 and 3D Marine Expeditionary Brigade particpate in a video teleconference onboard amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) as part of a Fleet Synthetic Training-Joint exercise. New Orleans, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, is forward-deployed in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
