St Margarets of Antioch Church, Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire.
Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire, home of Pinewood Studios, is also home to St Margaret's Church, situated in Church Rd. Dating from 1862, the building is a good impression of a 13th century English parish church, with open faced flintwork walls, a tower beside the church, a lynchgate at the entrance, and many graves in the churchyard. The field in the foreground of this image is ear-marked for development by 'local government planners', seemingly intent on destroying the open spaces around Iver Heath in their quest for development sites, irrespective of the views of locals .
