Ford Escort Mexico Mk2 side view
The MK2 Escort RS Mexico was manufactured between November 1975 and July 1978, all the UK models were built in Saarlouis, West Germany. They were manufactured by Ford's Advanced Vehicles Operations (Ford AVO), a department of Ford which built performance versions of the Ford range of cars and manufactured tuning equipment for them. Only around 2500 MKII Mexicos were produced The MK2 was a replacement for the successful MKI Mexico.
