Nadir graduated recruit training with Lima Company and was greeted by Marine Corps Lt. Col. Nadir moved to the United States in 2014 with a Special Immigrant Visa after working for three years as an interpreter in the Sangin District of Helmand province, Afghanistan, and will move forward in his training to become an infantryman.
