Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 2d Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force participate in a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) loading and unloading exercise (LOADEX) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia, May 19, 2022. LOADEX allows new heavy equipment operators to apply classroom instruction to a real-world training environment. The overarching strategy of LOADEX is to reinforce naval integration between the Marine Corps and Navy while incorporating new risk management methodologies into amphibious logistical operations.
