There was also an interesting high leaf-shaped leptocephalus (Fig. 79), another specimen of which was taken at Station 56. In the upper appliances there were quantities of fish-eggs and young fish, another Cystosoma, and Ceratias couesii, which had previously been taken by the " Albatross" off the east.
