A video of the collision went viral, with news channels worlwide running the story. The collision affected five diesel supply pipes embeded in the wall, causing a leak of 60,000 liters of fuel, half of which was recovered immediately. Nine days on from the incident, this image shows the extent of the damage and the broken and twisted fuel lines in the rubble. The beaches that were closed following the fuel spill have all since reopened.
