Nervous affections are represented by hemi-plegia, or paralysis of one half of the body, such as results fromthe bursting of a blood-vessel on the brain. Besides these figures,in which only one half of the body is represented, there are othervotive objects, consisting of one foot, one hand, one leg, or onearm.
