Before attempting the full consideration of this now important the cylindrical portion, arranged in the manner with which weare familiar, or, in other words, a fire tube boiler with a watertube firebox. The Brotan boiler, therefore, which is beingextensively installed in several Europe^-n countries, becomesproperly the subiect for discussion as the most practical andefficient representative of the type. It can no longer be disputed that certain points of superiority.
