Hisprincipal work is a complete and methodicalbody of moral theology, entitled Ethica Amo-ris, 1709, in three volumes folio, which, onaccount of its maintaining the Ultramontanedoctrines relating to the power and jurisdictionof the court of Rome, was not favourably re-ceived in France. He was also the author of atheological work, in folio, in which he explainedthe first part of the Summa of St. Thomas jand of a work, entitled Molinismus profliga-tus, in two volumes octavo; which, as welVas the preceding, is held in much estimation byCatholic divines.
