Joint 1 of fu-nicle aboiit as long as pedicel, but slightly narrower; joint 2 ra-ther shorter than joint 1; joint 3 longer than joint 1, and a littlebroader; club joints subequal in length, and eacli about as longas joint 3 of fnnicle; the basai joint very slightly wider than joint3 of fnnicle, and the terminal joint tapering from near base to itspointed tip. In general eftect the tlagellum is longer and more. Frospalta berlesei n. sp. flliform than in P. aurantii. Surface of thorax smooth. Generalcolor, a bright Straw yellow; ocelli coral red, eyes black; meso-scutellar parapsides black; abdomen fuscous, with narrow, lightyellow bauds between the segments; metanotum fuscous; antennaelight yellow brown; legs yellowish; wings hyaline, with a veryslight dusky shade ou disc; veins yellowish; forewings as withP. aurantii, but proportionately slightly longer and broader; disc 392 L. O. HOWARD densely, uniforiiily covered wìtli veiy short cilia; marginai ciliaof botli wings as Avith P. mirantii. Male. — Unknowii.
