The former WW11 hospital ship HMS AMRA sailing into the Port of Aden in the Yemen in 1960. She was originally built for the British India Steam Navigation Company Ltd of Calcutta in November 1938, for use on its Calcutta-Rangoon service. She was requisitioned by the British Government as a troop carrier and hospital ship for the duration of the war. Following the war she was used by the Indian government for the transportation of freight and passengers on the East African route, before eventually being broken up in 1961.
