Breathalysers for pubs and clubs have been handed out to owners of licensed premises in Weymouth Dorset as part of a trial to reduce pre-drinking (often called pre-loading) by customers. This initiative run in conjunction with Exeter University and Dorset Police hope to reduce alcohol fueled crime by giving the pub landlords a chance to test customers if they feel they have already drunk to much.
