It is to be noted that Pitards characterof blunt capsules for Nabiasodendron is not upheld by this species. G. Maingayi, King, in Journ. Asiatic Soc. Bengal, lix, 1890,p. 204, is extremely near to G. penangensis: and the ovary narrowsin the same way into the style. It was obtained first by Maingay who collected in Malacca,and then by Scortechini and Wray who collected largely in the hillsnear Taiping but did not record their localities. I hav
