Improve-ment committee was Messrs Hunter, Caldwell, Bulkley,Wilson and Mesdames Louisa Whitney, Caldwell, Donald-son, Bulkley, Kelly, Laughlin, Kerr and McGillivary. Therecords show that the above named committee was veryfaithful and zealous, and performed a great amount ofwork before their labor was finally crowned with success,and the house of worship improved and furnished to meetthe requirements of the congregation. ■And let the beauty of the Lord, our God, be upon us; andestablish thou the work of our hands upon us. Mrs. Bulk-ley and Miss Louisa Whitney, the others having removedfrom Scandia. Those now living are nearly all widelyseparated and are now located, some on the Pacific coast,some in Kansas and some in Georgia. But nearly all holdproperty interests in Scandia and return from time to timeto the scene of their early church work.
