The pods are a beautiful golden yellow, and are from 6 to 8 inches long, borne profusely in clusters of 4 to 6. As the pods retain their tenderness and plumpness long after the beans have attained a large size, only a few days elapse after they cease to be fit for String Beans before they are fit to shell.
