The flowers are white or rose-colored, and bloom in flat-topped corymbs from June to autumn. The whole plant has a pungent taste and aromatic odor. A. ptarmica (from the Greek plairein, to sneeze), or Sneezewort, is another variety, run wild in many places, but also sometimes cultivated in gardens. ar.
