NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 12, 2017) Midshipmen from the Naval Academy take a group photo in front of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) with their boatswain's mate sponsors June 12, 2017 as the ship is moored in Naval Station Rota, Spain. The Midshipmen concluded their summer cruise aboard the ship on the 12th. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe and Africa.
