Etnyre, Stone,Arvin, The 1911 Promenade Clymer As the stellar event of the year in the social calendar of Lake Forest, it is uponthe Junior Promenade that the eyes of all are turned either in commendation or disap-probation. Of the 1911 Promenade nothing but good can be said. All garish and vulgar display was done away with this year and the decorationswere most artistic in their simplicity. A professional decorator was given full chargebeforehand and the Art Institute appeared a veritible fairyland created by the mastertouch, on the night of the Prom. Another most pleasing innovation introduced was Ballous orchestra. It was his first appearance here in Lake Forest and certainly not his last to judge from the many words of praise passed on the evenings musical program. The features of the evening were the young ladies favors, consisting of large fans inthe class colors, and the grand march led by Mr. Neil Arvin and Miss Ester Goodmanwhich was manouvered so as to arrange a large L. F.
