Alakanuk, Alaska, July 16, 2013 In the far remote village of Alakanuk the fuel price is 8 dollars per gallon which drives the locals to use ATV's and snow machines for their transportation. After severe flooding impacted the community, FEMA is responding and has teams in place working with the State of Alaska, the disaster survivors in the designated areas.
