The reader may have noticed that it was found necessary laterto build up a permanent shelter for the helmsman just aft of the trunk. In form these boats are nothing more than big runabouts. In fact,if the scale were changed to give a length of 35 ft., they would havenot only the proper proportions but about the correct displacement fora high-speed runabout of that size.
