Bach, Johann Sebastian (Eisenach ,1685-Leipzig, 1750). German composer. Served as "Kapellmeister" from 1717 to 1723 the Duke of Köthen, the period when he composed his major instrumental works. Engraving by Tourfaut in "El Semanario Familiar Pintoresco" (1877).
