Shrove Tuesday means that the annual MPs vs Media Pancake Day race takes place in Victoria Tower gardens with leading names from the news media taking on Members of Parlament and the House of Lords, with on this occasion, the media taking victory. The race is organised by Rehab, a charity that provides support to disabled and marginalised members of society.
