France, Somme, Saint-Riquier, The belfry of Saint-Riquier, symbol of the communal liberties acquired in 1126, is a square tower of stone and sandstone having kept its medieval base. The elevation dates from the 16th century and the bell tower from the 18th century. The interior is made up of a prison and 4 superimposed rooms. It is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
