Wild Atlantic Way St Johns Point Lighthouse

The Wild Atlantic Way leads right past the narrow peninsula of St. John's Point. To the south end of the peninsula, actually St. John's Point, the path leads through a typical Irish landscape. It always has the best view of McSwyne's Bay and the adjacent Slieve League coast. The Killaghtee Cross, the remnants of the walls of McSwyne's Castle, a dream beach (Coral Beach) and finally the lighthouse are the attractions of the peninsula. The lighthouse offers an impressive panorama over the Donegal Bay.
