Lt. Col. Mike Dolge, I Corps transportation officer, confers with Maj. Katy Spencer, 593rd Expeditionary Command legal counsel, during Yama Sakura 73 Dec. 10, 2017. Yama Sakura is a bilateral command post exercise joining I Corps, 593rd ESC and other Army elements with soldiers from the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force. Held annually, YS moves each year to different regions of Japan to train with regional armies. This year, I Corps, 593rd ESC, and 17th Field Artillery Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, joined the North Eastern Army at Camp Sendai, Japan.
