221013-N-XM133-0009 JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (Oct. 13, 2022) Navy Region Hawaii's Federal Fire Department set up displays and informational booths at DoD Exchanges, including the Hickam and Navy Exchange at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to support Fire Prevention Week. Fire Prevention Week is observed each year during the week of Oct. 9 in commemoration of the Great Chicago Fire in 1871. This year's theme is "Fire Won't Wait. Plan Your Escape!"
