Littleton New Hampshire's historic waterfront includes a totally restored, working gristmill, circa 1797. The town, one of America's Main Streets, began in the buildings around the mill, on the Ammonoosuc River. It is now a working mill and shop. The dark red mill powered by an overshot mill wheel has clerestory windows, a feature of its era.
