Gavit. formerly su-perintendent at the chapel, now at theChicago Commons and a third fromRev. H. Post, a former teacher, nowpastor of the A .M. A. Congregationalchurch of Lafolette, Tenn. An electric light recently placed infront of the chapel is a great im-provement to the neighborhood. 10 THE CHURCH SOUTH PARK METHODIST. A public meeting in the interests ofthe Womans Home Missionary Socie-ty was held in the church Mondayevening, March 5. Mrs. Beiler, wife ofa former pastor of the church, spoke ofthe work of the society in Alaska, shehaving spent six months in travel allthrough that country. At the last Quarterly Conference,held Monday evening, March 5th, acordial invitation was extended to thepastor, Rev. E. S. Ferry, to return foranother year, and it was cordially ac-cepted. We are now upon the last mouth ofthe conference year. Few churches areclosing the year in better conditionthan South Park, or have a brighteroutlook for another year. All at it,and always at it is the price of suc-cess in the church as well as else-where. A class for Bible .study is held atthe parsonage on Thursday morningsat 10 oclock. Mrs. E. S. Ferry is theleader of the class and gives an exposi-tion of the Sunday school lesson forthe following Sunday. On Sunday evening, March 4th,
